SharpFutures is a social enterprise that supports people into employment in the creative digital sector in Greater Manchester.
From August 2020 SharpFutures will be running two separate transition courses designed to develop your skills for the creative digital industries. With a focus on Digital Production Management and Digital Content Creation the courses will give you the content making skills or the bespoke project management skills to work in this exciting and growing field of employment.
At the end of the bootcamps you will also be interviewed to join SharpFutures POD, which provides members with fully paid work opportunities to gain experience in the sector. Find out more about POD here.
Digital Content Creation
Do you want to learn how to make more digital content? Are you already a fan of photography or podcasts but want to know more about social media or find out about video editing, or vice versa? If you already have an interest for, or talent in, creating digital content but want to broaden your experience to include other types of content, then this course is for you. Each week you’ll learn new digital content skills through online courses, webinars and masterclasses.
This transition course aims to provide you with an overview of digital content creation within TV, Radio, Advertising and Social Media.
Digital Production Management
Are you the organiser in your home or with friends? Do you love keeping everyone on track? Do you have experience in accounting, logistics, customer service, hospitality or office administration?
In the first 6 weeks you’ll get to hear from industry experts, work with digital production tools, participate in Q&A discussions and find out about digital production areas across Greater Manchester.
In the following 6 weeks you’ll get to put your skills to the test in the creative digital sector in Greater Manchester based with supporting organisations at The Sharp Project, Space Studios Manchester or Media City
