Apply now for
Channel 4’s Content Creatives

Please note: applications for Channel 4's Content Creatives course are now closed but please check back regularly for details of future opportunities.

Applications are now open for the next round of Channel 4’s Content Creatives, a 14-week paid training and work placement opportunity offering the chance to kickstart a career in the creative industry in Leeds and Manchester.

Content Creatives is open to 18-24 year olds and we are particularly keen to offer opportunities to young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Applicants do not need to have any previous experience or a degree in media or digital. We just want to hear from people who have a passion for digital content and want to see how they can turn this into a career.

If you are successful, you will receive six weeks of bespoke training with SharpFutures followed by an eight-week work placement to put these skills into practice at a creative organisation in Manchester or Leeds.

During the first six weeks of the scheme, which starts in September, you will experience all aspects of creating and delivering digital content. You’ll undertake a range of courses covering skills such as production techniques, digital storytelling, ideas generation and pitching skills, alongside soft skills such as communication and teamwork.

After this training, you will then complete an eight-week placement to put these skills into practice. As well as offering placements with 4Studio, Channel 4’s Leeds-based digital content production unit, Channel 4 is partnering with creative organisations in Leeds and Manchester to offer a range of exciting placements to successful candidates.

Applications for ‘Content Creatives’ are open now.

The deadline for applications is Monday 4th July 2022 at 17:00.

Please note you must be between 18-24 years old (on Monday 4th July 2022) and able to work in-person in either Leeds or Manchester to apply for this course.
