The course application is open to residents of the North West region aged 18 and over.
The course is for 12 weeks in total and the commencement date is May 10th. Should your application be successful you will be required to go to an interview. The interview will take place between the dates of April 12th – April 19th. By April 22nd you will hear from us if you have successfully gained a place on the course. This then leaves 2 weeks before the course commencement date in which you can inform your employer if needed.
If you have successfully gained a place on the course, you will be given a wage. The wage would be the real living wage which at the time is £8.91 per hour.
Unfortunately, this course is only available to residents wihtin the North West region.
Flip The Script is a paid for full time placement that will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday so you would need to be available at those times. So if you are working full time you would not be able to take part.
The course is not open for those in full time education.
You can take part in the course but as it is a paid placement you will be ‘employed’ by SharpFutures for the duration you would not be eligible for pay though the furlough scheme from your job. If you have any questions please get in contact via enquiries@sharpfutures.org.uk.
You do NOT need script editing expeirence to take part in the course but knowledge of script writing, storytelling and the logistics of TV production would be a plus in your application.
