WHO ARE WE?

SharpFutures is a social enterprise that supports diverse young people into employment in the creative digital and tech sectors.  By offering a range of interventions including Apprenticeships, Work Experience and Volunteering, SharpFutures nurture the transition into work, whilst responding to the fluctuating needs of creative digital businesses.

We seed ideas through services for education, we nurture the best talent we find through employment opportunities and real work experience, and we grow through the sale of our business products and services.

Sharpfutures has formed Advisory Boards that will share their knowledge on specific subject matters and will be led by a member of the governing board. There will be four advisory boards held in 2018:

Jennie McAlpine

Mental Health Consultant

 Mental health and wellbeing of young people will be championed by Jennie McAlpine.

David Sharrock

Business and Finance Consultant

 Business development and finance championed by David Sharrocks. David knows SharpFutures well and spent 5 years as a non-Exec Director. Although recently stepped down, he remains an advocate of SharpFutures. Previously COO of WRG Live and The Creative Engagement Group.

Malcolm Garret

Design Consultant

 Creative, Digital & Tech community will be headed by Malcolm Garret RDI FRSA a world-renowned graphic designer and creative director of Images & co. Previously a non-Exec Director of SharpFutures and a true ambassador for emerging talent into the sector.

John Flint

Employment Consultant

 Young people, skills, and employment will be directed by John Flint.  John is a Partner with Clarke Wilmott specialising in complex high profile commercial litigation.
