St Cuthbert’s attended their Creative Digital experience day on 15th July and they brought in two groups through the day totaling in 40 pupils.
They got to tour around The Sharp Project and have a Creative Digital careers overview to learn about some of the careers available in this industry that they may have not known about before. They then got a chance to get involved in some workshops ran by professional businesses.
Each group got the chance to understand Green Screen Journalism and then film there own news report using professional cameras and microphones taking on the roles of a Director, Sound Manager, Boom Operator, Camera Operator, Presenters and Interviewees.
The groups also got to have a go at some coding activities such as Sonic Pi and MakeyMakeys with bananas.
